Its monofilament structure supports cleaner passage through tissue than braided alternatives, while the violet color improves visibility during placement and handling.
This configuration features a USP 5-0, 22 in (55 cm) strand paired with a 15 mm 3/8 circle Black Regular reverse-cutting needle. The finer 5-0 diameter and compact 15 mm needle support controlled placement and delicate tissue handling, making this option well-suited for closures where a refined needle-and-thread profile is preferred.
