We are proudly based in the northwest suburbs of Chicago in McHenry, IL.

What Are Your Normal Hours Of Operation?
Answer:

We are open Monday through Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM CST with lunch between 12 - 1PM CST.

How Can I Place An Order?

Are You The Original Equipment Manufacturers?

Yes, we manufacture and sell our own brand.

Can I See The Instruments In Person?
Answer:

Yes you can! We attend dental conferences all over the world. Please check out our upcoming events page to see where we’ll be next. If you are local, feel free to visit us during our normal business hours by appointment only.

What Material Are Your Instruments?
Answer:

Surgical grade 440A and Series 300 stainless steel.

Do You Take On Custom Manufacturing Requests?
Answer:

Absolutely. If you have a great idea for a custom instrument or kit, visit our custom manufacturing page to review our guidelines. You can schedule a consultation with us here.

Can You Provide An Estimate Before Servicing Is Performed?
Answer:

Yes, however, it may delay processing your order since it will be dependent on when we receive your response. To request an estimate, please note it on your order form that you require an estimate prior to servicing your instruments.

Can You Change The Tips That Are On An Instrument To Make It A Different Instrument?
Answer:

Yes. We can retip per the specifications noted on your order form. Please ensure your form is filled out completely to avoid any processing delays.

Can You Retip Cavitrons?
Answer:

We do not. However, we can replace them with what we have in stock at a reduced trade-in price (10% off).

How Do You Know When An Instrument Cannot Be Sharpened Again?
Answer:

Our trained instrument professionals individually inspect every instrument that comes to us for repairs. Safety is our number one priority, and we believe it is better to be conservative when it comes to sharpening. We will not sharpen a blade that is too short or too thin to our standards because the last thing we want is to increase the potential of injury to patients, RDHs, or doctors involved during a procedure should the tip break upon use.

Do You Have A Return Label Or Offer A Box To Ship To You?

What Is The Turnaround Time For Orders?
Answer:

Our processing time is between 7-10 business days to ship out upon receiving your order. This does not include the time the order is delivered since it is dependent on the shipping address and shipping method.

Can I Expedite My Order?
Answer:

If you would like your order to be processed <10 days, we are happy to rush your order with an additional rush fee (10% of the total before shipping) applied to your order. Alternatively, you can opt to change your shipping method from Ground to 2nd Day or Next Day Air per request. Your shipping cost will be adjusted accordingly.

What Will The General Shipping Cost Be?
Answer:

Shipping costs will vary depending on the size of the order as well as the shipping location. Typically, we see most of our orders range from $15-20 in shipping for ground delivery.

Do You Ship Out Of The Country (International)?
Answer:

We currently only ship within the United States and to Canada. Please note that Power Dental is not responsible for any customs, duties, taxes, or brokerage fees that may apply to deliveries in Canada. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
