These compact 5.1 in (13 cm) Perry tissue forceps have narrow, curved working tips with serrations along the inner gripping surfaces. They are used for picking up and positioning cotton, dressings and other small dental materials at chairside.
The curved tips allow an angled approach to small items, while the serrated inner jaws help hold materials during transfer. The spring-action thumb handle opens and closes with finger pressure, without a ring handle or locking catch.
At 13 cm, the Perry pattern keeps the curved working tips close to the hand. The serrated gripping surfaces are useful for holding small pieces of cotton or dressing while moving them into position.
