Posterior Gracey Curettes for Molars, Premolars, and Deep Scaling Access
Posterior Gracey curettes are site-specific periodontal instruments used for subgingival scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance on premolars and molars. Their angled shanks and area-specific blade designs help clinicians access posterior root surfaces, interproximal areas, furcation-adjacent regions, and deeper periodontal pockets where visibility and adaptation can be more challenging.
Common posterior Gracey applications include:
- Subgingival scaling on premolars and molars
- Root planing on posterior root surfaces
- Access to mesial and distal posterior areas
- Periodontal maintenance in deeper pockets
- Use with standard, rigid, mini, titanium, and AF posterior Gracey designs
This Posterior Gracey Curettes category includes GR5/6, GR7/8, GR9/10, GR11/12, GR12/13, GR13/14, GR15/16, GR17/18, AF, Rigid, Mini, Titanium, and scaler-curette kit options. The selection supports different posterior access angles, pocket depths, root anatomies, surface-specific techniques, and clinician preferences during periodontal instrumentation.
